There were only seven LBTSA-qualified shooters at the Forth & Clyde’s Double Dewar Open Meeting on 1st/2nd August, but that was enough to provide our Outdoor Champions for this year.

Congratulations to Sinclair Bruce (Balerno & Currie) on winning the unique McLennan Medal for the Open Championship (for the ninth time, equalling the most wins by anyone in the 116-year history of this Championship) and to Tony Lin Baledent (George Watson’s) on retaining the Ettrick & Lauderdale Trophy for the Handicap Championship. Winning that twice running has only ever been done twice before and nobody has ever won it more than two times.
