Team Postal League: This is for club teams of four, shot on a postal basis. Targets are shot on each club's home range in ten fortnightly match periods. Six teams per division, arranged in submitted average order.
The 2020-21 season has been restricted to the first five rounds only, with a shoot-by date for all rounds of 26th July.
|LAST DATES FOR SHOOTING (Mondays)|
Due to the very low number of teams from the original fourteen teams in three divisions that managed to shoot any cards, the committee decided on a radical revision of the method of producing results as round-by-round matches were not appropriate. The six teams that completed the programme were listed in their declared average order and split into two ‘Divisions’. Each of their actual shooting averages were then compared to their declared average and a percentage change found. The teams with the best improvement over their declared average win their ‘Division’ and are awarded medals.
Here are the detailed results. (The table above can be ignored)
In summary, ‘Division 1’ was won by Watsonians A and ‘Division 2’ by George Watson’s College E.
The winner of the trophy for having the most improved average from last seaosn is Rorie Watt (George Watson’s).
