The Association’s AGM will be held on Thursday 22nd May at 7:30 p.m. at Balerno and Currie Rifle Club.

Members of all affiliated clubs are entitled to attend. The agenda and the minutes of last year’s meeting have been circulated. The minutes are also available in the ‘Forms & Minutes’ link in the sidebar.

The following points were omitted from the agenda so please note the following:

Bill Hamilton will step down from running the CYOH and Championship competitions so new organisers will be required to run those next season.

Bill also intends to run the ‘World Cup’ competition for one more year only. If a new oganiser cannot be found before July 2026 when the entry forms go out then it will fold. Documentation for all procedures is available and full instruction will be given and the required files passed on. He’s been doing this for 35 years so he’s earned his retirement. More than just a passing experience with Excel under Windows would be required. This is not an elected position so volunteers can apply to world-cup@lbtsa.org.uk.

In addition, he will administer the Association’s website also for only one more year so a new Site Admin will be required. This does not appear to be an elected post either so anyone can volunteer:  contact the Site Administrator using the Contact Us link above. Experience with WordPress in a Windows machine would be a big advantage, but a full handover will be undertaken to go over what is involved and how things work.
