The Annual Genera Meeting of the Association finally took place on 18th June. There was a quorum.

The Treasurer’s report included a recommendation to increase all three club affiliation fees by £5, with a discount of £5 for clubs outwith the Association’s geographical area. This is because a large proportion of the affiliation fees go towards the entry and running of our county teams, which such clubs have no involvement with.

THe NSRA Representatifve’s reporet included worrying information that all the equipment required for holding the NSRA’s ‘Scottish’ meeting has been lost and also that the insurance claim for the firing point covering which was destroyed in a storm a couple of years ago was not submitted in time, so that compensation has been lost. The future of this meeting is therefore very much in doubt.

There were some changes to positions on the Committee :
Anna Leslie stepped down from the post of Secretary, and as the only volunteer, Amanda Puchalla (Watsonians) was elected in her place.
Tom Hodgson stepped down from the post of Vice-Chairman. No nominations were received and that post is now vacant.
There were no nominations for the secretaries of the CYOH competitions or the Championships and clubs are urged to ask if any of their members could volunteer to take these important competitions on.

Prizes were presented at the conclusion of the meeting. Thanks go to James Young for organising that, and also to Balerno & Currie RC for the use of their clubroom for the meeting.
