Individual League
The final results of the Individual Postal League are now available. Take the link in the ‘Competitions’ drop-down above to see the full details. Congratulations to all the division winners.
Next season it is intended to run two Individual Postal Leagues. One will be the traditional one running from January to March consisting of fixed divisions of six with each competitor shooting a total of ten 10-shot matches against each of the others in their division.
The new league will be run over ten fortnightly rounds from October onwards and will have divisions of variable sizes depending on the size of the entry and the averages declared. In each round of 20 shots for each shooter, the top scorer in each division is awarded N points where N is the number of competitors in the division, the second-top scorer is given N-1 points and so on to the bottom scorer who gets one point. Equal scores are given equal points. The competitor with the most points at the end wins the division.
